Hear the latest from Tie Lasater on The Hugh Hewitt Show

In this insightful interview, Tie Lasater, CEO of KeyCity Capital, joins Hugh Hewitt on The Hugh Hewitt Show to discuss critical issues affecting the housing market, including rising interest rates, apartment vacancies, and the changing American Dream. They dive into how more people are choosing rental properties over homeownership due to the desire for flexibility and the challenges of committing to long-term mortgages. Key topics include:

  • The Evolving American Dream: How homeownership is becoming increasingly out of reach due to rising interest rates, and why the traditional dream of buying a home is fading for many, particularly among younger generations.
  • The Shift Toward Renting: How people are moving away from the idea of owning a house and opting for the flexibility that renting provides, especially in the face of high mortgage rates and inflation.
  • KeyCity Capital’s Investment Model: How KeyCity Capital offers investors the opportunity to invest in rental properties, typically seeing ROI within 5 years, though the returns can vary depending on market conditions.
  • The Power of Hard Assets: Why investing in real estate and other hard assets remains a lucrative opportunity, especially in a market where lower interest rates can unlock opportunities for new buyers and investors.

As the housing market continues to shift, KeyCity Capital is uniquely positioned to help investors navigate these changes, offering opportunities to capitalize on the rising demand for rental properties. Tune in to learn how real estate investing can provide long-term, stable returns and create financial success in today’s market. This was recorded August 27, 2024.
